Turning document review into an actionable product workflow
A product flow that helped reviewers check marketing documents against approved language and find problems faster.
Context
Marketing content had to be checked against approved language and offer details. Reviewers were dealing with multi-page documents and needed a clearer path from upload to a usable finding.
Challenge
Documents had to be processed, discrepancies surfaced clearly, and reviewers directed back to the right source material without digging through every page by hand.
Role
I worked on the React experience and Python APIs that extracted text from PDFs and images, then presented comparison results in the UI. Broader product and platform work was a team effort.
Approach
- Supported document upload and extraction so reviewers weren't stuck in a manual copy-paste loop.
- Compared extracted content against approved language and surfaced discrepancies in the UI.
- Linked findings back toward the approved source material so reviewers could act on them.
- Kept product names, volumes, and internal architecture out of this public write-up.
Result
Reviewers got a structured way to find discrepancies and locate approved language, instead of hunting through documents alone.
